Pentagon stresses importance of dialogue with Russian military in Syria
Pentagon representative Eric Pachon told Sputnik about the importance of dialogue between the Russian and US militaries in Syria.

“The more we communicate, the better,” said Mr. Pahon. “We talk to the Russians in this area… If we talk more, it is easier to avoid inaccurate estimates,” Mr. Pahon declared.
According to him, the channel created to prevent conflicts with Russia is "working well", but he noted that the US military is prohibited from cooperating with Russia.
Earlier, the US State Department said that the US and Russia could overcome their differences on Syria at the political level.
Since 2014, the US and its allies have been conducting a campaign against IS in Iraq and Syria without the consent of the country's government.
