At around 2:30 a.m. on August 9, Phuc discovered Mr. Vuong Van Tuan driving a car carrying Mr. Nguyen Van Duc on Thoai Ngoc Hau Street, My Loc Hamlet, My Phuoc Ward (Long Xuyen City).
Knowing that Thoai Ngoc Hau Street was a dead end, Phuc took four bags of sawdust to block the car. When Tuan turned around and encountered an obstacle, he stopped. At this time, Phuc took a rock and smashed the front window of the car, threatened the victim, and then robbed him of a phone worth 5.9 million VND.
Before leaving, the robber also used a rock to break the rear window of the car. Faced with the robber's aggression, Mr. Tuan immediately drove away and went to the My Phuoc Ward Police Station to report the incident.
After the investigation, at around 10:30 a.m. the same day, Phuc was arrested. At the police station, Phuc said he sold the evidence for 500,000 VND and used the money for personal expenses./.
