The Speaker of the National Assembly emphasized this point during the National Assembly's working session this morning (June 10).

On the morning of June 10th, the National Assembly voted on the list of individuals subject to a confidence vote for positions elected or approved by the National Assembly and People's Councils. Accordingly, 47 individuals currently holding positions were subject to the confidence vote.

The criteria for those subject to a vote of confidence are that they must currently hold a position elected or approved by the National Assembly. The person being evaluated must have held that position for approximately one year.

Before the National Assembly voted on the list, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung reported on several issues regarding the implementation of Resolution No. 35/2012/QH13 of the National Assembly on taking votes of confidence and no-confidence votes for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly and People's Councils.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung emphasized that the process of taking and casting votes of confidence requires National Assembly deputies to be very cautious, objective, and impartial before casting their votes.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung emphasized: The vote of confidence at the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly is of paramount importance, allowing individuals being evaluated to assess their competence, prestige, and responsibility. Furthermore, this vote of confidence determines the quality of the National Assembly's operations.

Although voting is a simple process, it requires members of parliament to be very cautious, objective, and impartial when casting their ballots.

Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung expressed confidence that the National Assembly would fulfill its important responsibilities to the Party, the State, and the people in conducting the confidence vote.

After voting on 47 positions subject to a confidence vote, the National Assembly will discuss in groups the possibility of holding a confidence vote for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly.

This afternoon, the National Assembly will hold a plenary session in the assembly hall to conduct a vote of confidence for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly.

Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thi Nuong presented a summary report of the discussion results in the delegations and a report on issues related to the confidence vote and the individuals subject to the confidence vote.

It is expected that the Vote Counting Committee will announce the results tomorrow morning (June 11). The National Assembly will then pass a Resolution confirming the results of the confidence vote.
