Consulting voters at the place of residence for candidates for elected representatives

(Baonghean.vn) - Following the election process, on the evening of March 24, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Thi Ward (Vinh City) held a conference to collect opinions from voters at the place of residence for candidates for the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term residing in Block 14.

Accordingly, in block 14, there are 2 candidates for the 14th National Assembly, including comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Vi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; 4 candidates for the Provincial People's Council; 1 candidate for the District People's Council and 1 candidate for the Ward People's Council.

Before voters gave their opinions on the candidates, the conference secretary briefed voters on the criteria for candidates for the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term; presented brief biographies of the study and work process of 2 candidates for the 14th National Assembly; 6 candidates for People's Councils at the provincial, district and communal levels for the 2016-2021 term.

Voters of Block 14, Truong Thi Ward expressed their agreement to introduce two candidates residing in the block to be elected as deputies to the 14th National Assembly, term 2016 - 2021.

In the spirit of democracy, frankness and responsibility, voters expressed their opinions, highly appreciated the qualities of closeness and attachment to the people, good qualities and ethics; knowing how to care and help disadvantaged families, families with meritorious services, the elderly; having active participation and contribution to the common movements of the bloc and the ward for 8 candidates for the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2016 - 2021, whose preliminary lists were compiled by all levels to collect comments from voters at their place of residence.

The majority of voters expressed their agreement with the two candidates nominated to run for the 14th National Assembly and the six candidates nominated to run for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term. They also hoped that the candidates, when elected to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term, would fulfill their roles and responsibilities as elected representatives and continue to contribute to building a strong locality and country.

Voters agreed with the 6 candidates for People's Council deputies at all levels being introduced to the People's Council agencies at all levels, term 2016 - 2021.

On behalf of the candidates for the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term, comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, thanked the voters for their trust in the candidates nominated for the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, said that whether or not they are elected to the elected body, each person nominated this time will try to fulfill their duties well, contributing to building a strong and prosperous country and homeland.
