Seeking feedback on the draft Law on Notarization (amended)
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 23, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation held a conference to gather feedback on the draft Law on Notarization (amended), with the participation of representatives from relevant departments and agencies. Comrade Pham Van Tan - Provincial Party Committee member, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - presided over the meeting.

The draft Law on Notarization (amended) comprises 10 chapters and 79 articles. At the conference, most delegates highly agreed with the contents of the articles in the draft law, while focusing their opinions on several issues such as: registration for notarization practice; conversion of Notary Offices into Notarial Offices; standards for notaries; exemptions from notarization training; age limits for notarization practice; principles of notarization practice, etc.
The delegates also agreed with the proposed adjustments to the draft law, which would assign notaries the task of notarizing translated documents, add a provision that notaries must be responsible for the content of the translation; and that the amended Law on Notarial Practices should include a provision requiring notaries to pay mandatory insurance...
At the conclusion of the conference, Comrade Pham Van Tan highly appreciated the contributions of the delegates. Based on these contributions, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will compile them and report to the drafting agency for consideration and adjustment before submitting them to the upcoming 7th session of the 13th National Assembly.
