Official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc's visit to Japan
At 6:00 p.m. on June 6, the official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation took place solemnly at the Akasaka State Guest House (Government Guest House), Tokyo - the place usually reserved for welcoming heads of state of the Japanese Government. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe presided over the welcoming ceremony.
Thirty minutes before the welcoming ceremony, leaders of ministries, branches, localities, official members of the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation and heads of ministries and branches of the Japanese Cabinet were present at the waiting position. Hundreds of reporters from many major international and Japanese news agencies were also present many hours before to record images of the welcoming ceremony.

The special point in the welcoming ceremony that the Japanese Government reserved for Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation this time was that in addition to the presence of members of the Cabinet, the welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also had the participation of a large number of officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community living and working in Tokyo.
In their most beautiful costumes, along with hundreds of flags symbolizing the national flag and friendship of the two countries, the presence of the Vietnamese community at the official welcoming ceremony once again showed the good development of the traditional friendship and the extensive strategic partnership between the Governments and peoples of Vietnam and Japan.
As soon as the private motorcade carrying Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc entered the main position of the Great Hall, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe directly came to greet and shake hands with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
Next, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe respectfully invited Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to come to the podium.
The official welcoming ceremony began with the Military Band playing the national anthems of Vietnam and Japan. After the Honor Guard Captain reported, the two counterparts inspected the honor guard, bowed to the Vietnamese and Japanese national flags, and approached the representatives of the Vietnamese community at the designated location.
After shaking hands and introducing the official delegation members, the two Prime Ministers headed to the meeting room.
