Ceremony to receive the certificate recognizing Phuc Xa communal house as a historical relic.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 28th, the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district held a ceremony to receive the provincial-level historical relic ranking certificate for Phuc Xa village communal house (Ngoc Son commune, Thanh Chuong district).
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of Thanh Chuong district, and a large number of people from Ngoc Son commune.

The historical site of Phuc Xa communal house in Ngoc Son commune was built during the Nguyen dynasty. It served as a place of worship and a place of veneration for the village's tutelary deity, Mai Hac De and Mai Thieu De, outstanding heroes who fought for national liberation, overthrew the Tang dynasty's rule, gained independence and self-governance for the country, and established the Van An state in the 13th century.
In addition, the temple is also a place of worship for deities such as Cao Son, Cao Cac, Nam Son, Kim Son, Phuc Son, Bach Son, and Lam Son – deities who contributed to the nation and assisted the people, and are revered and worshipped by the people.
Phuc Xa communal house, built over 100 years ago, is a large structure consisting of five bays and two wings. The house has a massive frame, using traditional building materials and assembly techniques, decorated with delicate and lively carvings, harmoniously arranged with the "upper truss, lower crossbeam" style. Despite numerous renovations, the monument still retains its basic ancient architecture from the Nguyen dynasty.

On October 24, 2015, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision No. 4864-QD/UBND recognizing Phuc Xa Village Communal House as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic.
At the ceremony, representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province presented the Certificate of Recognition for the ranking of Phuc Xa village communal house as a provincial-level historical relic to Ngoc Son commune, Thanh Chuong district.
