Memorial ceremony of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac from December 6-8

The 86th death anniversary of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac - father of President Ho Chi Minh will take place over 3 days (from December 6 - 8, 2015, corresponding to October 25 - 27 of the lunar calendar, At Mui year) in Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap.

This anniversary is held as part of a series of events celebrating major holidays and festivals in December of the province. Besides expressing the people's respect and deep gratitude for the contributions, morality and noble personality of Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac in the cause of national liberation and country building. This is also an opportunity to promote tourism potential and tourism products to visitors.

Regarding the display activities, the exhibition displays nearly 1,000 documents about Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, President Ho Chi Minh, his homeland, his country...; an exhibition of children's paintings; a number of images and artifacts "Antiques, national treasures and Vietnamese history under the Nguyen Dynasty"; an exhibition of a collection of photos and documents on the topic "President Ho Chi Minh and the election of the National Assembly and People's Councils"; a collection of stones symbolizing Truong Sa and Hoang Sa as belonging to Vietnam;

In order to impress visitors, the Nguyen Sinh Sac Tomb Relic Site organizes an "Art Road" (inside the campus) with activities such as calligraphy, artistic portrait drawing, performance and display of rice paintings...

Ms. Dang Thi Mai Yen, Deputy Director of the Nguyen Sinh Sac Tomb Relic Site, said: This is the first time the relic site has organized the "Art Road" festival. This activity is organized by the site in coordination with the Faculty of Art Education - Dong Thap University to create a new feature in serving the sightseeing needs of visitors from near and far.
