Cuong Temple Festival 2008

March 24, 2008 11:22

From March 20-22, 2008, the Cuong Temple Festival took place at Mo Da Mountain, in Dien An commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An province), where the temple dedicated to Thuc An Duong Vuong is located, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from all over the country.

A new feature of this year's Cuong Temple Festival is the inclusion of many traditional folk games reflecting the local spiritual traditions and cultural identity. Notably, this year's Cuong Temple Festival also includes the participation and exchange of ideas from a delegation from Dong Anh district (Hanoi), a place that also preserves a part of the legend and historical relics of Thuc An Duong Vuong, further enhancing the significance of the festival in honoring the community's roots.
