The 2022 Lotus Village Festival is organized on a provincial scale and will take place over 3 days.

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan to organize the Sen Village Festival on the occasion of the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2022).

The 2022 Sen Village Festival is held to express people's respect and gratitude forPresident Ho Chi Minh– National liberation hero, world cultural celebrity. At the same time, the festival is an opportunity to promote the campaign “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”. This is also an opportunity to promote the image of Nghe An to the whole country and international friends.

The theme of the Festival is determined to honor President Ho Chi Minh and the cultural values ​​of Sen Village, Nam Dan hometown; praise Nghe An homeland for innovation, integration and development.

As planned,Lotus Village FestivalThe 2022 festival will be held at the provincial level for 3 days (from May 17-19) in Vinh city and Nam Dan district. The festival includes a ceremony and a festival, the ceremony includes the following activities: Flower offering ceremony in front of Uncle Ho's statue in Ho Chi Minh Square; Flower and incense offering ceremony at Kim Lien Relic Site and Chung Son Temple; Uncle Ho's portrait procession; Opening and closing ceremony of the festival.

The festival includes cultural, artistic and sports activities: Lotus Village Singing Festival; "Lotus Village Beauty" contest; photo exhibition onUncle Ho; performing Vi and Giam folk songs; organizing an online photo contest “Hello Nam Dan”; performing lotus ao dai; displaying and introducing culinary culture and typical products of Nghe An province; organizing camps, film screenings, folk games; competing in volleyball and traditional martial arts…

In particular, Nghe An province coordinated with the Department of Performance to organize the National Professional Tuong and Folk Drama Festival in Nghe An province on the occasion of the Sen Village Festival. The opening program of the Festival was combined with the opening of the Sen Village Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province at the Sen Village Stadium on the evening of May 17, 2022.
