Vac Village Festival opens on the anniversary of Hung Kings

(Baonghean.vn) - This year, the Lang Vac festival was organized by Thai Hoa Town on the occasion of the Hung King's death anniversary.takes place from April 5-7, 2017, i.e. March 9-11 of the lunar calendar.

On the morning of April 5, within the framework of the festival program, the units gathered to set up camp. In the afternoon of the same day, many activities, folk games, and sports competitions took place such as: throwing con, chess, swinging, sack jumping, stick pushing, men's and women's volleyball...

Most notable was the proclamation ceremony at Lang Vac Temple. In the sacred atmosphere of heaven and earth, the elders in the sacrificial team performed the sacrificial rituals according to the customs of the ancient Vietnamese people.

Tomorrow (April 6), the Lang Vac festival will be officially opened with the Vac procession ceremony and many other meaningful activities: gong competition, beautiful voices, beautiful women... In addition, coming to this year's festival, visitors can also admire and enjoy the typical products of Phu Quy land.
