70th Anniversary of the Founding of Quy Chau District Party Committee
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 5, the Quy Chau District Party Committee solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its founding (July 5, 1947 - July 5, 2017).

| Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors, representatives of twin provinces with Quy Chau district, districts and towns in the province, former leaders of Quy Chau district through the periods; Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, pre-uprising cadres and a large number of cadres and party members in the district. |
After 70 years of striving, building and growing, from 4 initial party members, up to now, Quy Chau District Party Committee has 3,870 party members, operating in 41 grassroots party organizations, including 234 party cells directly under the grassroots party committee. The Party Committee always takes care of building the party in terms of ideology and organization.
In each historical period, the Party Committee has always correctly identified its political tasks, cared for the training and cultivation of ethics, qualities, and improved understanding and leadership capacity for each Party member. Making Party members always the red thread connecting the Party with the masses, the Party grassroots organization is the nucleus of comprehensive leadership in implementing the Party Committee's political tasks.

In particular, most recently, during the 2010-2015 term, under the leadership of the district Party Committee, the efforts of the political system and the entire population, Quy Chau has made many remarkable strides. The average economic growth rate reached 9.5%. The average income per capita increased from 9.4 million VND in 2010 to 19.2 million VND/year.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son praised and acknowledged the achievements of the Quy Chau District Party Committee in recent years. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Quy Chau District Party Committee should continue to innovate, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee, focusing on effectively implementing the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (term XII) on Party building and rectification in conjunction with Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
The Party Committee continues to strongly innovate its leadership methods, working style and manners in a dynamic, decisive and thorough manner, strictly implementing the principle of democratic centralism, arousing the revolutionary offensive spirit and creativity in cadres and party members, first of all the leaders at all levels in the political system. Pay attention to building and improving the quality of cadres in association with training, fostering and planning cadres, paying attention to ethnic minority cadres, young cadres, female cadres in the political system...
The district will mobilize and effectively use resources, promote local advantages to help Quy Chau district escape poverty by 2020 as the goal set by the district Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term.
