These images, after being posted, attracted thousands of likes and shares. The online community expressed their admiration for the great love of this couple in their fifties.
It is known that this is the 20th wedding anniversary of the couple Tran Van Thang (born in 1971, Ho Chi Minh City) and Phan Thi Quyen (born in 1972, Ho Chi Minh City) held in Vung Tau. What touched the audience the most was not the romantic room with flickering candlelight but the scene of the disabled wife sitting in a wheelchair, being led by her husband.
Tran Trung Hieu (born in 1997, the couple’s son) said that the 20th wedding anniversary ceremony was entirely planned and executed by the husband. He wanted to give his wife, who has been with him for 20 years, a surprise.

“When my dad told me about the idea, my brother and I were quite surprised and immediately supported it. The three of us quietly planned a romantic evening, while my mom only knew that the whole family would go to Vung Tau. When she entered the room, she was surprised and very happy. I have never seen her so young and beautiful. And my dad has been wonderful for all these years,” Hieu said.
Hieu said that his mother had leg muscle atrophy and could not walk since she was a girl. When they "got married", his parents also had to endure a lot of gossip about a normal guy marrying a disabled girl.

However, over the years, his parents still love each other. “I admire my father’s love. For all these years, wherever he goes, he is always the one pushing the wheelchair, carrying my mother, and only when he is very busy does he “ask” me for help. My father also helps my mother a lot with daily activities. As for my mother, needless to say, she is kind and indulges my father very much,” Hieu shared.
