"In the 2000s, stages in Hanoi often combined many genres in one show, but music was the main one, with many famous stages. During that period, the venues developed very brilliantly. Quyen still regrets the flourishing development of music venues at that time, the number of venues was countless but always crowded."

Le Quyen and Thu Ba said that they had to perform continuously, sometimes at 4-5 venues in one night.

"That time was very fun" - she recalls - "Quyen slept during the day to regain strength to sing. Every night she sang in many places, sometimes 4-5 venues continuously. The night she said goodbye to her friends was also 2-3 am. The starting salary was 60,000 VND and then increased to an average of 120,000 VND. This amount was also the highest at that time".
