Launching Ceremony for Malaria Prevention and Control in 2012
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of April 6th, in Quy Chau district, the Steering Committee for Malaria Prevention and Control of Nghe An province held a ceremony to launch the 2012 malaria prevention and control campaign.
The launch event was attended by 650 delegates, including leaders from the Department of Health, Quy Chau district, and other relevant agencies.

The report from the Provincial Malaria Prevention and Control Steering Committee clearly states: Over the past 10 years, the number of people suffering from malaria in Nghe An province has not decreased significantly. While the number of deaths due to malaria has decreased, the number of malaria cases has increased. At this year's malaria prevention and control campaign launch ceremony, the Provincial Malaria Prevention and Control Steering CommitteeHe called on all citizens of the province to actively participate in the malaria prevention and control movement and protect their health.
Following the launching ceremony and the nationwide emulation campaign to combat malaria in 2012, the organizing committee and delegates participated in a parade from the district center to Chau Binh, aiming to widely disseminate information to the people about the causes and harmful effects of malaria.
