Living in an environment where the whole family are teachers, Thuy Linh wants to continue her family tradition. Before the 2014 university entrance exam, Linh confidently registered for the A1 block exam to enter the Pedagogical University and the D1 block exam to enter the National Economics University, majoring in Accounting - Auditing. While in the A1 block, Thuy Linh did not do as well as she expected and expected to score around 22 points, in the D1 block, Linh completed the exam quite well. Right after finishing the D1 block exam, Thuy Linh confidently thought she could pass but unexpectedly she was valedictorian with a total score of 26.75 (Math: 9.25; Literature: 8; English: 9.5), rounded up to 27. Up to this point, Linh is the candidate with the highest score in the D1 block in the whole country.
Talking about choosing the Accounting - Auditing major at the National Economics University, one of the hot majors with very high entrance scores, Thuy Linh said: At first it was my parents' suggestion, then I wanted to have the opportunity to affirm my abilities at a university that I have loved for many years.

Talking about the secret to getting high scores, Thuy Linh said that in addition to English, which is a major subject at school and students spend a lot of time studying, Linh often divides Math into different types to do exercises. "Each type of math has many problems and many difficult ways to solve them, so mastering the solution method is the deciding factor. For Literature, in addition to studying literature, I also regularly practice questions and learn more about current issues of the country to make connections with the exercises. Besides, I am not too stressed during the exam preparation time but arrange my own time to sleep and play reasonably," the new valedictorian shared.
Notably, Thuy Linh is a classmate of Thao Trang, the new valedictorian of block D1 at Hanoi Foreign Trade University. Currently, Linh and Trang's English class is continuing to wait for the next valedictorians and salutatorians. Teacher Le Thi My Duyen, Thuy Linh's homeroom teacher, said that Linh is a student with very good academic performance and is good at English. In the university entrance exam organized by Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Linh was also the "valedictorian" of the whole school. "Linh is a good, gentle, mature, cute and dedicated student. Her personality is very suitable to become a good teacher," teacher My Duyen affirmed.
Talking about her plans, Le Thi Thuy Linh said: After becoming a student of the major and school that I love, in the near future, I will try to study well and hope to become a university lecturer to continue my family's tradition.
