Flag-raising ceremony for the two Gepard 3.9 missile frigates Quang Trung and Tran Hung Dao.
On the morning of February 6th, at Cam Ranh Naval Port (Khanh Hoa), the 4th Naval Region solemnly held a flag-raising ceremony for two Gepard 3.9 missile frigates, hull numbers 015 - Tran Hung Dao and 016 - Quang Trung.

The flag-raising ceremony was attended by Rear Admiral Hoang Hong Ha, Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Navy. Also present were representatives from localities, the military, branches of the armed forces, the 4th Naval Region, maintenance experts, and officers and soldiers of Brigade 162.
Rear Admiral Pham Van Hoanh, Commander of Naval Region 4, presided over the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the commander and political commissar of Region 4 personally presented the national flag and the Vietnamese Navy flag to the officers and soldiers of the two ships, officially commissioning ships 015 and 016 into the 162nd Brigade for training and combat readiness.
Assigning tasks to the two ship crews, Rear Admiral Pham Van Hoanh emphasized: The acceptance and official commissioning of the two Gepard 3.9 missile frigates, numbered 015 - Tran Hung Dao and 016 - Quang Trung, into the 162nd Brigade is of paramount importance, marking a significant step in the development of the Navy in general, and the 4th Naval Region in particular, in building a regular and modern navy.
The Commander of Naval Region 4 requested that officers and soldiers of ships 015 and 016 consistently uphold their responsibilities, overcome difficulties, and proactively study and research, mastering the ship's capabilities and tactical skills to quickly become proficient in using the equipment effectively and ensuring absolute safety.
