In a solemn atmosphere, monks held a ceremony to pray for peace for the homeland and the country, praying for the Covid-19 epidemic to soon be eliminated and for people's lives to soon return to normal.

Before the complicated developments of the pandemicCovid-19 epidemic, The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha continues to send a delegation of monks and nuns to volunteer in the South to participate in the fight against the epidemic. This delegation includes 11 monks and nuns from 5 provinces and cities (Nghe An, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, Hai Phong) to fight the epidemic at Field Hospital No. 13, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

In which Nghe An has 4 monks: Venerable Thich Minh Dinh (Dai Tue Pagoda - Nam Dan), Venerable Thich Minh Quang (Diec Pagoda - Vinh City), Venerable Thich Minh Ly (Tu Pagoda - Nghi Loc), Venerable Thich Phuc Tue (Dai Tue Pagoda - Nam Dan) volunteered to participate in this time.

All volunteers have undergone training, meet all standards, and are in good health to volunteer to go to the South to support the frontline forces against the epidemic. The mission of the group is to help and support the care of Covid-19 patients and perform tasks assigned by doctors and nurses at the field hospital.

At the farewell ceremony, the monks who volunteered to go to the South to fight the epidemic received encouragement and praise for their spirit of dedication and service from the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province and representatives of the government. On behalf of the monks who left this time, Venerable Thich Minh Ly spoke, expressing his determination to leave for the common mission.
