Leicester punishes fans who sell black market tickets
The Premier League leaders have banned some fans from their stadiums for years for selling tickets for their last game at inflated prices.
A few days ago, some Leicester fans put up tickets for the match against Everton, the last match of the season for Claudio Ranieri and his team. With the Foxes having a great chance of winning the title, these tickets were sold for up to 21,350 dollars per pair and sold out in less than 90 minutes.
Leicester said they would investigate the incident. Yesterday, the club revealed they had handed out multi-year stadium bans to fans who sold tickets for profit.

"The club has a duty of care to its supporters and works hard to prevent the sale of illegal tickets. We also encourage our supporters to report any such activity," Leicester said in a statement.
The Foxes are seven points clear of Tottenham with just five games left in the Premier League. With Leicester set to complete their incredible run at the King Power Stadium against Everton, many would love to be there.
"A number of season ticket holders have been handed multi-year stadium bans, preventing them from attending Leicester City games or buying tickets for any of the club's games. Their membership of the season ticket holders has also been revoked," Leicester said in a statement.
