Len Aldis, companion of Vietnamese Agent Orange victims, passes away
Information from the British Embassy in Vietnam said: The British Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Giles Lever, was very sad to hear that Mr. Len Aldis passed away last weekend.
Ambassador Lever said: “Len Aldis has made many contributions to strengthening friendship and understanding between the British and Vietnamese people, through his campaign for victims of Agent Orange, as founder and Secretary of the UK-Vietnam Friendship Association and most recently as Honorary President of the Vietnam-UK Network.

He will be remembered forever for his contribution to bilateral relations and humanitarian work. The entire staff of the British Embassy in Hanoi and the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City join me in sending our deepest condolences to his family and friends.”
As a world-renowned peace activist, Mr. Len Aldis has long devoted much of his life to helping victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in Vietnam.
Mr. Len Aldis often comes to Vietnam to help victims of Agent Orange/dioxin with many practical actions. Having accompanied war victims for many years, especially those who still suffer from the severe consequences of American bombs containing Agent Orange, Mr. Len Aldis has contributed a strong voice to condemn the consequences of Agent Orange on many generations of Vietnamese people./.
