According to NBC Washington on January 4, the man identified as Yianny Georgopoulos jumped over the fence, carrying two bottles of wine as gifts for the president.
However, Georgopoulos was quickly arrested by the US Secret Service. Georgopoulos later told the agents that he wanted guidance from President Trump - who has been married three times - on how to get a wife.
The White House break-in is not uncommon for the Secret Service. In March 2017, a young Vietnamese-American man named Jonathan Tuan-Anh Tran was arrested by the Secret Service after breaking into the White House and claiming to be a friend of President Trump. Jonathan also carried two cans of pepper spray for self-defense, a book bag with a book about Mr. Trump, an American passport and a laptop.
Another notable incident was in 2014, when Omar Gonzales of Texas tried to enter the White House through the north door with a nearly 3-inch knife and was arrested. At that time, President Barack Obama's family was not in the White House.
