Lexus RX350 2016 welcomes Vietnamese customers

The compact crossover has undergone a complete makeover, targeting young people, with an extended wheelbase and equipped with many driver-oriented features.

Launched at the New York Auto Show 2015 in April, the 2016 RX is the first version of the 4th generation. Compared to the old version, the 2016 RX has a 51 mm longer wheelbase and an overall length of 127 mm. The new generation RX is more muscular and angular.

The hourglass grille, headlights, and fog lights are all dramatic lines; sharp angles, lines everywhere from the hood, fenders to the front and rear of the car. The interior is inspired by the same changes as the exterior, with the new layout of the dashboard clearly showing its driver-oriented purpose. The gear lever is closer to the driver, the cup holder is right next to it, and the air conditioning vents are large like on German sports cars. The Japanese automaker also applies the "standing screen" trend with a vertical infotainment display in the middle of the dashboard.

The RX350 uses a 3.5-liter V6 direct-injection engine that produces 295 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 370 Nm of torque between 4,600 and 4,700 rpm. These figures are more impressive than the previous generation, which produced 274 horsepower and 346 Nm of torque. 8-speed automatic transmission.

The RX350 2016 appeared at the Vietnam Motor Show (VMS) 2015 with the purpose of introducing it to Vietnamese customers in advance and the Japanese car company has not yet announced the price of this small crossover.
