Schedule and ticket prices for the Hanoi 5-door train (The Hanoi Train)
The Hanoi 5-door train officially entered commercial operation from September 6, bringing a unique cultural experience on the Hanoi - Tu Son journey with ticket prices starting from 550,000 VND.
The special tourist train inspired by the ancient Thang Long citadel will officially enter commercial operation from September 6, 2025. The train departs at 8:00 a.m. from Hanoi station, offering a unique cultural experience.

Each train car is named after 5 famous gates of Hanoi: Cau Den Gate, Quan Chuong Gate, Cau Giay Gate, Cho Dua Gate and Dong Mac Gate. Tourists can enjoy traditional art forms such as Quan Ho, Ca Tru and Cheo singing throughout the journey.

Vietnam Railways Corporation will operate 2 pairs of trains every day with departure times at 8:00 and 13:30. The journey from Hanoi station to Tu Son station, passes through Long Bien, Gia Lam, and Yen Vien stations.

Ticket price list for Hanoi 5-door train
Ticket prices for the Hanoi 5-door train are applied according to each type of carriage: 550,000 VND for 1st floor seats; 650,000 VND for 2nd floor seats and 750,000 VND for VIP carriages. Preferential policies apply to children and people over 60 years old.
Tickets include 1 drink + sweet/salty cake, cultural experience on the train, Vinbus shuttle to visit Do Temple and local cultural activities. Passengers have 1 hour and 30 minutes to visit the destination before returning.
