Provincial Labor Federation develops response scenario for Covid-19 epidemic in new situation

Implementing Plan No. 160/KH-UBND dated March 29, 2021 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in the new situation in Nghe An province; Plan No. 16-KH/BTGTU, dated June 29, 2021 of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on continuing to promote information and propaganda on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in Nghe An province, on August 6, 2021, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor developed a Response Plan for all levels.Covid-19 epidemicin the trade union levels in the province.

Accordingly, 4 scenarios are built according to each level of the epidemic. Specifically:

Scenario 1: The epidemic has not occurred yet. There have been no F0 cases recorded in the community. Trade unions at all levels participate in propaganda and advocacy for epidemic prevention in enterprises.

Scenario 2: The epidemic has occurred, the community has recorded many cases of F0, F1, F2, Covid epidemic prevention in Nghe An province is at level 1,2,3. However, there are no F0, F1, F2 workers at the enterprise.

Scenario 3: The epidemic has occurred. The enterprise has not had F0 yet but has had many F1, F2 workers; Covid epidemic prevention in Nghe An province has moved to levels 3, 4, 5.

Scenario 4. The epidemic has occurred. There are many F0s in the community; There are many F0s, F1s, F2s who are workers in many businesses; Covid-19 epidemic prevention in the province has moved to levels 3, 4, 5; Businesses must temporarily close to implement epidemic prevention measures.

In all four scenarios, the trade union organization demonstrated a sense of responsibility, standing side by side with union members, workers, and businesses, solidarity, cooperation with the entire political system, and sharing with the community and people. This spirit is demonstrated through practical activities such as: Establishing a "Covid Safety Team", donating masks, hand sanitizer, anti-splash goggles... to businesses; calling for support for the epidemic prevention and control fund;support workersaffected by the epidemic; organize cooking for quarantine areas; visit frontline forces; donate necessities to blockaded areas and disadvantaged workers; coordinate the organization of zero-dong booths; supervise the settlement of support policies; advocate for rent reduction...

The scenario is accompanied by detailed appendices for each situation, clearly assigning tasks to each individual and group corresponding to the roles of management, supervision, propaganda, and logistics. During the implementation process, the above contents will be adjusted and supplemented promptly to suit the practical situation and developments of the epidemic at each time.

In the context of complicated epidemic developments, the scenario thatProvincial Construction Federationcontributing to ensuring stable life, employment and income of workers at agencies, units and enterprises, supporting workers and union members affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in a fair and synchronous manner, associated with effectively implementing the direction of the Central Government, the Province and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control.
