The giant Mid-Autumn lantern model, made by the people of Group 12, Tan Quang Ward, Tuyen Quang City, to bring joy to the children in the residential area, laid the foundation for this unique cultural and festive activity. It's not only for children during the Mid-Autumn Festival but has also become a distinct brand of Tuyen Quang, recognized by the Guinness Book of Records Vietnam as the festival with the most large lantern models in Vietnam.
After 10 years of organization, this year marks the first time the festival is being held on a provincial scale, with hundreds of giant Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns paraded through the streets, attracting tens of thousands of visitors.
