First National Poetry Performance Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - For three days (from August 6th to 8th, 2012), the first National Poetry Performance Festival took place in Quy Nhon city (Binh Dinh province).

With the support of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the "Nghe An Spring Poetry Club" of the Provincial Cultural Center participated in the festival.
The Nghe An Spring Literary Group participated in this year's festival with only 5 official members and 8 performances. The results included 1 performance winning the Excellent Award (First Prize); 6 performances winning the Good Award (Second Prize); and the entire group winning the Good Award.
Nghe An had the fewest members among the 22 participating delegations and was also the only one without performance costumes and an orchestra (only one bamboo flute player) due to limited funding. However, in addition to successfully executing the festival program in the hall, ensuring it closely followed the Central Committee's directives on content, theme, and form, the delegation also established a Poetry Club to present poems by members of the Tao Dan literary group and released poems into the air in the poetic region of Binh Dinh, as planned by the Organizing Committee. The Nghe An delegation's program made a positive impression on the Organizing Committee and the poetry guests at the festival.
