Closely linking the cooperation program between the two localities of Nghe An - Ho Chi Minh City in cultural and sports development

On January 10, implementing the Socio-Economic Development Cooperation Program between Nghe An province and Ho Chi Minh City for the period 2019-2025, a delegation of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City led by Mr. Tran The Thuan, Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department, along with representatives of leaders of departments and affiliated units, came to work with Nghe An province to continue implementing a number of work contents in the field of Culture and Sports.

Welcoming and working with the delegation, on behalf of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An, there was comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department, along with the Department's departments and heads of affiliated units.

Based on the contents of the cooperation agreement signed by the two Departments on April 13, 2019, the two sides have inspected, reviewed, and evaluated the quality and progress of the work items implemented in 2019, the expected tasks, recommendations, and cooperation proposals in 2021 and the whole period. The leaders of the two Departments agreed that these tasks will be summarized and divided into groups to support investment in facilities; exchange and support state management experience and professional expertise.

On that basis, according to the functions and tasks of the two Departments and affiliated units, a specific plan will be developed to implement tasks under their authority such as: coordinating the construction of Ho Chi Minh cultural space by building and organizing unique cultural and artistic activities on the occasion of events in the two localities; providing professional support in building grassroots cultural movements, cultural human criteria, digitizing Han Nom documents, documents, artifacts displayed in museums, electronic libraries, exchanging documents, solutions for displaying information onLife and career of comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, provide professional training and organize sports tournaments based on the strengths of each locality, advise on promoting the socialization of cultural and sports activities...

Synthesize, submit recommendations and propose contents under the authority of the leaders of the two localities to decide such as continuing to support investment in the construction of a number of cultural and sports projects; inviting large enterprises to invest in the construction of the Sports Complex of Nghe An province... with the spirit of close coordination and association between the two Departments to advise on the effective implementation of the Cooperation Program between the two localities for the period 2019-2025.
