At the conference, representatives of the tourism sector of Nghe An, Binh Dinh and Hai Phong city introduced the tourism potential as well as cooperation prospects of the localities. Along with introducing the development potential, representatives of the Department ofNghe An Tourismalso affirmed that Nghe An is a safe destination for tourists. Because in the last two Covid-19 outbreaks in the area, there were no cases of infection.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh An - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Tourism affirmed that the coordination in organizing the Conference to stimulate domestic tourism and link tourism development of Binh Dinh - Nghe An - Hai Phong is to respond to the domestic tourism stimulus activities of the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism.

In the first 9 months of the year, the total number of tourists staying in the province is estimated at 2.1 million, equal to 52% compared to the same period in 2019 and estimated at 41.2% of the 2020 plan. Tourism service revenue is estimated at 2,092 billion VND, equal to 52% compared to the same period in 2019 and estimated at 39.8% of the 2020 plan.
