Does NATO have enough resources to support both Israel and Ukraine?
NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana said in an interview with Romanian TV channel Digi 24: NATO has enough resources to support Israel and Ukraine.
According to him, NATO has enough resources. According to his calculations, the 32 NATO countries, including Sweden, are home to more than 1 billion people and account for more than 50% of global GDP.
“There are resources… we will be able to deal with these two situations, we hope to defuse the situation in the Middle East as soon as possible and continue to support Ukraine,” Joane said.

He added that coalition member states needed to unite their ranks to support Israel and avoid escalation in the Middle East.
The Deputy Secretary-General also noted that some would be happy if the West, the US and NATO started to have to share attention between what is happening in the Middle East and in Ukraine, but this is not going to happen.
Joe Biden, in his address to the nation, called aid to Ukraine and Israel a “smart investment” that would “pay dividends” for future generations. He said that if Russia wins, it “will not stop” and could “attack” NATO countries, while “potential aggressors” around the world will become more emboldened, leading to conflicts in other regions.
The Russian Foreign Ministry responded by accusing the United States of lying under the guise of “non-existent values.”
