According to the indictment of the People's Procuracy of Nghia Dan district: at about 11:30 p.m. on September 2, 2015, taking advantage of the negligence of Thach Anh Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, located in Hamlet 6, Binh Minh (Nghia Hoi Commune, Nghia Dan District), Ha Duy Trung and Vo Van Quat went to the area where the brick production line of this company was located, used scissors to cut the electric wire, used a wrench to remove the fixing screws and stole 2 3-phase electric motors.

At about 1:00 a.m. on September 3, 2015, when the two subjects were selling electric motors in Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, they were discovered.
