The sacred commemoration of Hung Vuong's death anniversary at Dai Tue Pagoda.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 14th, Dai Tue Pagoda in Nam Anh commune, Nam Dan district, held the Hung Kings Commemoration Ceremony for 2019.
Attending the ceremony were Comrade Nguyen The Ky - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Director General of the Voice of Vietnam Radio; leaders of Nam Dan district, along with a large number of Buddhists and visitors from all over.

For generations, the worship of King Hung has become a cultural identity and traditional moral principle of the Vietnamese people, expressing the gratitude of generations of descendants to their ancestors for their contributions to nation-building and national defense.
Hung Kings Commemoration Day is an occasion for all Vietnamese people to turn their thoughts towards their ancestral land, remember the origins of the Lac Hong lineage, foster pride in their ancestral traditions, and strengthen the spirit of unity and love within the national community.

At the Hung Vuong shrine, in a solemn atmosphere, Venerable Thich Tho Lac - abbot of Dai Tue Pagoda - solemnly recited the eulogy to the National Ancestor, recalling the nation's history, praising and expressing gratitude for the merits of the Hung Kings in the cause of nation-building and national defense.

Delegates, along with numerous monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers, performed traditional rituals such as commemorating, offering incense, and offering flowers to the National Ancestor. This was the first time Dai Tue Pagoda organized the Hung Vuong National Ancestor Commemoration Ceremony, contributing to creating opportunities for Buddhists and tourists who could not travel to Hung Temple in Phu Tho to offer incense and express their reverence to the National Ancestor.

It is known that the shrine dedicated to the National Ancestor Hung Vuong, located to the left of the main hall of Dai Tue Pagoda, is a spiritual structure for worshipping the Hung Kings. Alongside it, other kings and President Ho Chi Minh are also worshipped – figures who made great contributions to the homeland and the country. Since its construction, along with Dai Tue Pagoda, the shrine dedicated to the National Ancestor Hung Vuong has always been cared for and honored with incense offerings by descendants from all over the world.
