Liverpool lost three goals in the last 10 minutes, Luis Suarez cried

Liverpool's dream of winning a first title in 24 years all but ended after Brendan Rodgers' side were held to a 3-3 draw by Crystal Palace despite leading 3-0.

Holding the gold but letting it fall, in the last 10 minutes, the Red team let Palace score 3 goals in a row, including a double from Dwight Gayle that made striker Luis Suarez cry when he saw heaven broken right before his eyes.

A draw at Selhurst Park saw Liverpool temporarily climb to the top of the table, one point ahead of Manchester City. However, the Blues can regain that position if they win their make-up match against Aston Villa tomorrow.

Before that, Liverpool were still behind Man City in terms of goal difference, meaning that even if they had the same number of points, they would still be ranked lower. When the referee blew the whistle to end the match, Suarez left the field with tears in his eyes, because in the past 24 years, Liverpool had never been so close to the championship and yet lost it all by just a hair's breadth./.
