First images of Kia Cerato 2018 revealed
The new generation Kia Cerato was spotted parked on the street in Korea.
The latest images of the Kia Cerato are similar to the design that was leaked when Kia tested the car last July. The hatchback will have a “tiger nose” grille similar to Kia models. Through the image, it can be seen that the car will be designed a bit lower than before.
The tapered headlights extend from the front to the sides of the car, making it look more aggressive when viewed from the side. The bodywork is rather bland, with a cutout above the door handles. The rear of the car resembles the Optima Sportswagon, with large, easily recognizable taillights and a more prominent rear bumper design.
Unfortunately, there are no photos of the car's interior, although the photographer has revealed that the model will have an interior similar to Kia's regular mid-range models.
The question is whether this car will be sold only in Europe as the Cee'd or will it be sold in Asia as the Cerato. Because this car has very different names in each market. In Korea, this model is known as the K3, in the US it is called the Forte.
Many people expect this model to appear at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show. In Vietnam, Kia Cerato currently has many strong competitors in the same segment such as Mazda 3, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla Altis, or its sibling Hyundai Elantra.
