The traditional brick kilns in Nghi Quang are still operating openly.

(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, Baonghean.vn reported on the environmental pollution in Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district, and its impact on flight safety at Vinh Airport due to smoke and dust from the manual brick kilns of Prison No. 3 (Department V26 - Ministry of Public Security).

The People's Committee of Nghi Loc District directly worked with Prison No. 3 and submitted a written request to the unit to dismantle the manual brick kilns on June 30, 2013, in accordance with the district's policy of eliminating manual brick kilns.

However, Prison No. 3 has only dismantled some brick kilns and has proposed extending the deadline to July 31, 2013, to resolve the issue of remaining materials…

However, as of August 2nd, 2013, Prison No. 3 continued to operate its brick kiln, causing environmental pollution and angering the residents of Nghi Quang.

The manual brick kiln at Prison No. 3 continues to bring raw bricks into the kiln for firing.
