Tornado causes damage of more than 20 billion VND to rubber trees

(Baonghean.vn) -Director of Tay Hieu II Farm - Nghe An Rubber Coffee Company said: cThe tornado that occurred on the afternoon of May 8, 2017 broke many rubber trees, causing damage of more than 20 billion VND.

Due to the impact of the tornado that occurred on the afternoon of May 8, 2017, many areas of rubber trees in the harvesting period of Nghe An Rubber Coffee Company located in Thai Hoa town were broken and felled. In Tay Hieu II Farm alone, 360 hectares of rubber trees were affected, of which about 100 hectares were severely damaged.
