Comrade Nguyen Van Thanh, born on November 30, 1950, hometown: An Hoa commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province; permanent residence at BT7.7, Phuong Vien urban area, Bac An Khanh, Hoai Duc, Hanoi; former Assistant to the President, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Ukraine, concurrently serving in the Republic of Moldova. He was awarded by the Party and the State: Third-class Independence Medal, 30-year Party membership badge; due to old age and poor health, he passed away at 5:50 a.m. on July 17, 2023 (ie May 30, Quy Mao year) at Military Hospital 103, at the age of 73.
