Witness account of gas station employee stabbed to death in Nghe An

On the afternoon of July 11, we went to the Quynh Giang gas station (Quynh Luu) where a murder occurred in the early morning of July 10, in which a female gas station employee was stabbed to death by a stranger.
Unable to hide his shock after his colleague's death, Mr. Dung - who worked the same shift as Ms. Tran Thi Phuong - said: Before the incident, he was lying inside the duty building while Ms. Phuong was lying outside in the corridor of the gas station to make it convenient to pump gas when vehicles stopped by.
At around 2am on July 10, while Mr. Dung was sleeping, he suddenly heard a loud scream from outside. When he opened the door, he saw Ms. Phuong's face pale, in pain from many stab wounds, bleeding profusely. "Immediately after that, I ran to Minh An General Hospital, about 30 meters from the gas station, to call an ambulance. A moment later, I heard that Ms. Phuong had passed away," Mr. Dung recounted in pain.
According to the scene, before the murder, Quynh Giang petrol station had 3 cameras installed in different directions; the lighting system was on all night. After the authorities retrieved the cameras at the scene, they discovered a man about 30 years old, his face covered, using a weapon to attack Ms. Phuong.
“The subject is so sinister, we really hope the authorities will find the culprit soon. We are somewhat reassured,” said Mr. Dung.

As the person who was directly present at the hospital after the victim was taken to the emergency room, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (the victim's uncle) said that the perpetrator was very brutal, with up to 5 stab wounds to the chest area through 2 layers of clothing (the uniform shirt is made of quite thick fabric). In addition, the subject also used a knife to cut very deeply on the child's wrist and it is possible that the victim resisted, causing the knife to cut into the victim's hand.
"When they heard that their grandchild had passed away, their family members were devastated. No one believed it was true. They felt sorry for the two little grandchildren because they did not understand this great pain," said Mr. Hung.
The pain is overwhelming
On the morning of July 11, family, neighbors and colleagues organized a farewell procession for Ms. Tran Thi Phuong to her final resting place. Along the way, cries calling the name of the unfortunate woman could be heard in despair. Witnessing two children aged 4 and 9 wearing mourning clothes walking beside the coffin of their unfortunate mother, no one could hold back their tears.

Talking about the victim's family situation, all the neighbors were heartbroken when heartbreaking events continuously happened to the family. "Ms. Phuong's father-in-law passed away 6 months ago due to lung cancer. Ms. Phuong's sister-in-law passed away 54 days ago and now she suddenly passed away. Many disasters have happened to Mr. Duong's family at the same time," Ms. Ho Thi Huong - the victim's neighbor sighed...
