Tru is a worker at Factory 171, Area D, Pouyen Company (Binh Tan District). On June 11, many workers quit their jobs, using the excuse of protesting the draft Law on Special Economic Zones and the Law on Cyber ​​Security, and poured onto National Highway 1, causing chaos. Riot police were mobilized to maintain order and prevent the crowd from causing trouble.

According to the investigation agency, Tru joined the protesters and marched to the main gate of the company. When stopped by the police, the male worker and many others threw rocks at the force.

Tru then approached the gate, picked up a rock weighing more than 30 kg and threw it straight at the heads of the mobile soldiers, causing one to collapse. He was helped up by his teammates, and although injured, he continued to use his shield to block the bricks and rocks from the extremists.

Working with the investigation agency, Tru admitted his actions and said that many people invited him to join the protest.

"I saw others shouting to throw stones so I threw them too. When I ran out of small stones, I found a big one so I picked it up and threw it at the police," Tru confessed, saying he was very remorseful and hoped his sentence would be reduced so he could go home and take care of his wife and two children.
