On June 26, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Cuong - Deputy Head of Huong Tra Town Police (TT-Hue) said that the Investigation Police Agency has just issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the suspect Vo Minh Trung (born in 1999, residing in Binh Thanh Commune) for the act of "Rape and robbery".
"The above decisions have just been transferred to the People's Procuracy at the same level for approval," said Lieutenant Colonel Cuong.

The Deputy Chief of Huong Tra Town Police said that after being arrested to serve the investigation, Trung initially gave statements about his crimes.
Accordingly, on the morning of June 20, Trung entered the campus of Le Thuyet Secondary School (Binh Thanh Commune, Huong Tra Town) to look for the keys he had dropped earlier.
“When he entered the school, he discovered Ms. N. sitting alone in the duty room, her back facing the window, so he had the idea of going in to rob her and take money to spend.
To serve his purpose, he walked around the school area and picked up a sharp wooden stick as a weapon, kept it on his person, and used the victim's mask hanging on the car to cover his face, avoiding detection," said Lieutenant Colonel Cuong.

According to the Deputy Chief of Police of Huong Tra town, on the day of the incident, Ms. N. came to the school with a bag of lotus seeds and a knife used to peel the lotus seeds.
“When Trung entered the room, Ms. N. was holding her phone texting her friend. Discovering the knife on the table, he ran over, grabbed it, restrained the victim and robbed her of her property. Among them were 2 phones and more than 160,000 VND in the victim’s wallet.
The intention and act of rape were also carried out by the suspect after controlling the female teacher," Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Cuong revealed part of the suspect's testimony.
Lieutenant Colonel Cuong added that on the morning of June 26, a working group of Huong Tra Town Police was sent to Da Nang to conduct an appraisal of the case's evidence.
"This is a professional measure to strengthen the case file and serve the investigation of the case," said Mr. Cuong.
At around 9:15 a.m. on June 20, while on duty at the school, Ms. PTNN (33 years old, teacher at Le Thuyet Secondary School) was confronted by Vo Minh Trung, who broke into her room, robbed her of her property, and raped her.
More than 1 hour after committing the crime, Trung was intercepted and arrested by the police on his way from Hue city to Binh Thanh commune.
