Testimony of young man who entered dormitory and molested female student

The young man confessed that he took advantage of the crowd to enter the dormitory of the National Economics University (Hanoi) to molest a female student.

On October 3, the leader of Dong Tam Ward Police (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi) said that after receiving the information, the unit brought the young man to the police headquarters to investigate and prosecute him for molesting a female student.

The identity of the young man was identified as Phung Quang T. (29 years old, from Phu Tho). Initially, T. admitted to entering the dormitory of the National Economics University and taking advantage of the crowd to molest some female students. However, he was later discovered by people and the police were called to arrest him. In addition, T. also said that after graduating from university, he was working as a tutor.

Currently, Dong Tam Ward Police have collected documents and handed over the subject to Hai Ba Trung District Police for handling.

Also related to the above incident, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tin (Deputy Chief of Hai Ba Trung District Police) said that the Hai Ba Trung District Police's General Investigation Team is currently handling the case.

This case is still under investigation but it is possible that the young man will be administratively punished for molesting female students.

Previously, a clip posted on social media recorded the image of Phung Quang T. (29 years old, from Phu Tho) taking advantage of a crowded time to break into the dormitory of the National Economics University and molest a number of female students. The incident has caused panic among female students studying here over the past few days.

At the time of the incident, the police force of Dong Tam ward (Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi) quickly arrived and invited the subject T. to the ward to verify and clarify according to regulations.
