(Baonghean.vn) - The 21-year-old female student said that after being beaten up, her parents forced her to kneel down and apologize if she did not want to continue being beaten.

On March 25, 3 days after being beaten and threatened with miscarriage, Ms. PTH (21 years old) was still being closely monitored by doctors at the Nghe An Reproductive Health Care Center. Unlike previous days, Ms. H. agreed to speak to the press to recount the incident.

Accordingly, on the morning of March 22, while she and some teachers of the Vietnam - Laos Kindergarten (Trung Do Ward, Vinh City) were welcoming the children to class 5E, Ms. Phan Thi Nghia (35 years old) and her son came over. Showing the bruise on her son's ankle, Ms. Nghia questioned Ms. H: "Did you hit him?".

The female intern said that after a few words of explanation that she did not hit the child, Ms. H. was rushed by Ms. Nghia, grabbed her hair, pulled her forward, kicked her in the back and stomach, and punched her in the face repeatedly, even though the victim kept saying she was pregnant. Some teachers standing nearby tried to stop her, and at the same time warned Ms. H. that she was pregnant.

However, at this time, Ms. Nghia said "even though I was pregnant, I still beat her" and then attacked until the victim fell face down. "After stopping the beating, the parent asked "if you kneel down and apologize, I will forgive you, if not, I will beat you to death..." - Ms. H. said and said that at that time, she was forced to lie that she had beaten the child. "I had no other choice, so I knelt down in front of the parent and the child said "I'm sorry". About a minute later, the parent left and I stood up" - she said.

According to this intern, in addition to the physical injuries, the humiliation caused by her parents to make her kneel caused her mental damage, shame towards those around her and the children she takes care of every day.

"I did not beat Mr. Nghia's child, causing him to have bruises on his legs. If the police can verify that I beat the child, I will be held accountable before the law," Ms. H. promised.

According to the female student, Ms. Nghia's relatives have visited and expressed their desire to forgive her. However, her opinion is to let the authorities clarify right and wrong and handle the case according to regulations.

After being summoned, Ms. Phan Thi Nghia initially admitted to the investigation agency that she had beaten and forced the female student to kneel and "show remorse." She was banned from leaving her residence to assist in the investigation. Vinh City Police said that the unit would also clarify whether the female student had beaten the child and bruised her leg.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of Nghe An Department of Education and Training said that immediately after the incident, the Department requested the Department of Education and Training of Vinh City to urgently coordinate with the police to clarify the incident; coordinate with the medical center to ensure the health of the female student. In addition, the Department also requested the kindergarten to quickly stabilize the spirit of teaching and learning.

“The Department also requested that schools cooperate with the authorities to do a good job of school security after this incident. Currently, there are some schools that still allow parents to brazenly enter classrooms like that, which is not acceptable,” said Mr. Hoan, adding that the incident is also a lesson for the local education sector in security issues./.
