After completing the printing and enrollment process, the Thai Script Learning Club recently officially launched its second course – the Lai Tay script class for the Thai ethnic group – at the Chau Cuong Community Education Center. Encouragingly, over 80 students registered and attended the first lessons of the Lai Tay script. Of these, 32 are high school students. The remaining students are officials and Party members working in villages and various departments within the Chau Cuong Commune People's Committee who participated in the first Lai Xu script course and are now continuing their studies. In total, nearly 60 returning students are participating in this course, demonstrating that the Thai script class has attracted the attention of the majority of the Thai ethnic community here. Despite facing many difficulties regarding school facilities and funding, the Chau Cuong Commune People's Committee and the Club's management board have made every effort to create the best possible conditions for the class to be maintained and successfully completed, just like the first course. It is known that the People's Committee of Bac Son commune is currently working on a project to request the People's Committee of Quy Hop district to establish a Thai ethnic script learning club to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Bac Son. The leadership of the Pu Huong Nature Reserve will also send staff to participate in this class. This demonstrates the existence and correct direction of the Quy Hop Thai ethnic script learning club.
