Flood swept away 3 people in Anh Son
On the afternoon of September 20, floodwaters swept away 3 people in Hoa Son commune, Anh Son district, of which 2 were rescued.
Mr. Le Van Tri - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Anh Son district said that from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on September 20, there was heavy rain in the district, causing water in rivers and streams to rise very quickly.
There were times when the government and people could not react in time. In particular, in Hoa Son commune, 3 people in hamlet 4 were swept away by floodwaters. People were able to rescue 2 people, but 1 person has not been found yet.

In addition, there are 28 flooded areas in the district, including the Khe Loa bridge pier on Provincial Road 349D, which has been eroded and is at risk of collapsing.
"Currently, the District Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue is focusing its forces on rescuing people and supporting people in flooded areas to safe places, and at the same time putting up warning signs in areas at risk of landslides and flooding so that people can take precautions," said Mr. Le Van Tri.
