(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 26th, heavy rain occurred in Mon Son border commune (Con Cuong district), and the high volume of water flowing from upstream caused flash floods and landslides.
According to local residents, at the time of the flash flood, the water level at Pha Lai dam rose 1-2 meters above normal. The rising floodwaters, combined with heavy rain, inundated several houses, damaging some household items.
