On November 20th, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police announced that they had coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security, the Lao Cai Provincial Police, and the Lao Cai International Border Gate Border Guard Station to receive Quan Thi Nhac from the Public Security Bureau of Honghe Prefecture, Hekou County, Yunnan Province, China.
In 2009, Quan Thi Nhac (residing in Lam Binh district, Tuyen Quang province) deceived and trafficked two Vietnamese women to China. On October 27, 2009, the Investigation Police Department of Tuyen Quang province issued a warrant for the arrest of Quan Thi Nhac.
During the investigation, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police determined that the suspect was hiding in Ha Kou town, Yunnan province, China. The Tuyen Quang Provincial Police requested the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security to exchange information with the Chinese police to successfully apprehend Quan Thi Nhac.
