Nghe An province's armed forces start training in 2023

At the ceremony, the representative of the Provincial Military Command summarized the Combat Training Order of the Military Region Commander and the 2023 combat training mission of the Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces.

Accordingly, in 2023, the armed forces of Nghe An province will thoroughly grasp and organize the implementation of Resolution No. 1659 of the Central Military Commission; Resolution No. 755 of the Military Region Party Committee; Order No. 124 of the Military Region Commander and Resolution of the Provincial Military Party Committee on leading the implementation of military and defense tasks in 2023; focus on training for subjects according to the motto "basic, practical, solid", attaching importance to synchronous and in-depth training.

Training is close to actual combat and local conditions, suitable for combat targets and organization, training to master the existing weapons and equipment of the unit. Improving the quality of regular construction work, strictly following military discipline and state laws; building a strong and comprehensive unit "Exemplary, typical".

The basic tasks and requirements include: Focusing on improving the quality and effectiveness of staff work, direction, guidance and organization of combat training tasks of commanders and agencies at all levels; maintaining order in staff training work, innovating organization and methods, and improving the effectiveness of inspection work.

Innovate and improve the quality of competitions, sports and drills, focusing on defense area drills in 5 districts and towns (Ky Son, Con Cuong, Nghia Dan, Dien Chau, Thai Hoa Town); flood and storm prevention drills, search and rescue in Nghi Loc district; command and staff drills on maps and in the field with the application of information technology, defense drills on 2 islands, combined drills with live ammunition of Battalion 41/Regiment 764 and affiliated units.

Focus on training and practicing combat readiness plans according to Directive 900 of the Military Region Commander, Instruction 1611 of the General Staff, Instruction 3243 of the Provincial Military Command, ready to carry out tasks when situations arise.

Implement well Directive 79 of the Minister of National Defense and instructions on building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical"; strengthen inspection work, implement the breakthrough "Adjusting the force organization; improving the quality of training; creating a steady change in building discipline and law enforcement"; improve the quality of legal education, training in regulations...

The training year starts from March 1, 2023 to December 15, 2023. Of which, the training time for officers is 65 days/year; for soldiers enlisted in 2022 and 2023, it is 9 months, divided into 2 phases; combat-ready units are 16 days/month; for officers of Frame A reserve mobilization units, it is 5 days/month; for units that both train and perform tasks, it is 8 days/month; and for new soldiers, it is 3 months.

Also at the ceremony, the Provincial Military Command launched a peak emulation campaign to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation with the theme "Remembering Uncle Ho's words, competing to excellently complete tasks in the first 6 months of 2023". The emulation period is from March 1, 2023 to June 11, 2023.

Based on the Combat Training Order of the Military Region Commander and the combat training mission of the Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces, the Provincial Military Command requests the commanders of agencies, units, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Armed Forces to thoroughly grasp, deploy and organize the excellent completion of combat training missions in 2023; and successfully carry out the peak emulation period of the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation./.
