Armed forces on duty 24/7, urgently supporting the evacuation of people in flooded areas in Western Nghe An
Due to the impact of storm No. 3, prolonged heavy rains have caused many areas in western Nghe An to experience rapidly rising floods, causing widespread inundation and the risk of serious landslides.

Faced with the emergency, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command immediately deployed response plans, mobilized officers and soldiers to concentrate on key points, and coordinated with local authorities to promptly support people.

Military forces promptly deployed forces to directly evacuate people in deeply flooded areas to safety; at the same time supported the transportation of assets, essential items, and the preservation of important documents of people as well as agencies and units in the area.
At the same time, working groups are arranged to stand guard at landslide-prone areas, resolutely preventing people from passing through areas with severed roads and high potential risks.


On the morning of July 23, Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Commander of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command directly directed the work of overcoming the consequences of floods in the Western communes, requesting to continue to increase forces and technical equipment from the Command and agencies and units to support the people.

In Tuong Duong commune (established on the basis of merging Thach Giam, Luu Kien, Xa Luong communes of the old Tuong Duong district), the Defense Command of Region 4 - Tuong Duong mobilized 80 officers and soldiers along with many specialized vehicles to urgently evacuate people and property from deep and dangerous flooded areas.
Rescue work is being carried out continuously in complex weather conditions, with many roads cut off by floods.


The armed forces remain on duty 24/7, ready to mobilize when situations arise, ensuring timely support for the government and people of Western Nghe An to respond to and overcome the consequences of floods.
