Resolution 88/2014/QH13 of the National Assembly on Innovation of general education programs and textbooks has set a roadmap for the implementation of the new general education program and textbooks in a rolling manner for each primary, middle and high school level from the 2018-2019 school year.
Thus, with the Prime Minister agreeing to delay the implementation progress by one year compared to the original plan, it is expected that the new curriculum and textbooks will be implemented from the 2019-2020 school year.
Once agreed with this proposal, the Government will report to the National Assembly for consideration and decision.
