Note with 5 parts on the car that new drivers need to know
When learning to drive a car, everyone is very confused with the parts and functions of the car. The first thing before becoming a good driver is to know about the parts and functions of the car.
Each part of the car has its own function. Experienced drivers must know these things. New drivers with no driving experience may have difficulty handling so many details.
Below are car parts that seem very simple but are often very difficult to use.
1. Open the fuel tank cover, hood, trunk
Many older cars do not have a button to open the fuel cap. Therefore, the driver cannot sit still to control the car, but instead needs to get out of the car, then press directly on the fuel cap to pop it open or lift the trunk.
When opening the fuel tank cap, open it slowly and close it quickly. If you open it slowly, the air will gradually escape, avoiding pressure that can cause the cap to pop or cause an explosion. When closing it, do it quickly so that air cannot get in.
However, most cars today have been improved. On the driver's left knee, high or low, there will be levers to open the fuel tank cover, hood and trunk. If there is a car without a trunk opening button, it can be opened electronically at the back.
2. Rear window wiper
When wiping the front windshield is very simple, you just need to swipe the right side of the steering wheel, swipe up or down according to each level. But the rear wiper is more complicated. With the same wiper, the head of the wiper can rotate, then you need to rotate and observe through the rearview mirror to see the level of operation of the rear wiper.
3. Anti-glare mirror
There are cars that do not have an automatic anti-glare function in the rearview mirror, and if you do not know how to stop the glare, it will be very dangerous. In that case, drivers should remember this method, push the small lever under the mirror, the glare from the car behind will be significantly reduced. In fact, the mirror has rearranged the mirrors inside to reduce the glare.
4. R hook type manual gear lever
When the driver moves the lever to the left and then pushes it up, it will be in 1st gear. To go into reverse, we do the same but grab the small circle below the gear lever and pull it up. When returning to neutral (N), move it normally as when returning from 1 to N.
5. Child latch
Many people think that to lock children, you have to adjust it on the dashboard somehow. Actually, when doing this function, you need to pay attention to the child lock symbol on the door. At this time, you can push or turn it depending on each car, the child lock function is done like that.
