At noon on June 24, Vietnam's No. 1 tennis player Ly Hoang Nam (ranked 529 ATP) came from behind to win 2-1 (2/6, 7/6, 6/4) against Jankovits Yannick (France, ranked 414 ATP) and won the men's singles championship at the Thailand F3 Futures professional tennis tournament.

The 30-year-old Jankovits Yannick, who once reached ATP 226 and won 13 Men's Futures singles titles, used his powerful and tricky serves to quickly win the games he served. He also overcame Hoang Nam's persistent play to break his serve twice, winning the first set 6-2.

That was also the match in which Hoang Nam played inconsistently, especially his finishing shots at the net were not decisive. Although he let his opponent break his serve early in the second game, Hoang Nam played more carefully, taking advantage of every opportunity to break Jankovits Yannick's serve, equalizing 2/2. Adjustments in his playing style helped Hoang Nam not get caught up in his opponent's play, so the player from Tay Ninh continuously scored points to keep the score at 6/6, bringing the match into a tie-break.

In the tie-break series, Hoang Nam let Yannick lead 2/0 but equalized 2/2 then broke away to lead 5/3, 6/4 and ended with a 7/5 victory, equalizing the score 1-1, bringing the final match into the deciding game 3.

Youth and better concentration helped Hoang Nam play better and better, no longer inferior to his opponent. After a 2/2 draw, Hoang Nam continuously had opportunities to break Yannick's serve and he succeeded, taking the lead 3/2 after many exciting tug-of-wars. Yannick's determination to break helped him play with great effort in the 6th game, but Hoang Nam played the ball in a versatile way, continuously equalizing before winning, increasing the gap to 4/2, then 5/3, and ending with a 6/4 victory.

The championship helped Hoang Nam accumulate 18 more points, bringing his total to 81 points and advancing deep into the ATP top 500. This is also the second professional men's singles championship in Hoang Nam's career.
